But we should probably start getting used to it. Having temps in the mid-80s on Halloween is nothing new. It’s been in the 70s on Christmas Day. But having 100s this far into September is not normal. Add this to the list of shit I’m sick of.

Same over here. May and September were the hottest months , by far (both hit 100+ multiple times) . It’s been a weird summer. We’ve been upper 90s every day for the past couple weeks. This morning it dropped to 69 and the kids wanted to put on coats before school. At least we’re down into the 80s now. And no rain for a month means it’s bone dry, which is semi-comfortable.

Weather is definitely wonky. We had a cool wet spring, which is not normal. It gave me hopes for a more mild summer. All it did was delay the inevitable, and stretch it out into fall.

Thats exactly what my truck’s temp readout said and I was pretty OK with it. I woke up to a house that was a lovely 63F. Slept like a BABY.

I did not. We’ve decided to not go this year. Usually, we take my daughter on opening day. This year, she wanted to go to the Billie Eilish concert i n October, and we offered her the option of one or the other. They cost about the same all in.

So this year, I’m taking my daughter to see Billie Eilish.
